Semi-Permanent Lip Blush (or lip tattooing) is a professional cosmetic procedure that uses a machine similar to a tattoo gun to implant colour pigment into the epidermis of the lips. This treatment results in fuller and more defined looking lips. Restores and defines your natural lip shape, and corrects asymmetry. Most importantly, it will not smudge, saving you time and money.

How do I choose a colour?

We offer a range of colours by Permablend, Tina Davies and Ever After pigments. These pigments can also be mixed to achieve even more tones. We can recommend a colour based on your skin tone, or you can bring in your favourite lipstick and we can match it.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS?

Perfect lips are created over 2 sessions 4-6 weeks apart. A consultation takes place to assess the skin and discuss the desired colour and shape.

The first appointment takes 2 hours 45 minutes in total.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Up to 3 years, after which the lips fade away as the pigments are broken down by the body. Annual top-ups are advised and are half the price of the original procedure.

What is the aftercare?

Keep the area clean and apply the provided ointment for 3 weeks. Avoid sunbeds, saunas, swimming pools and direct sunlight for 3 weeks. Additionally, avoid makeup, heavily scented soaps and acids (e.g. retinol) on the area for 3 weeks.

does it hurt?

Topical numbing agents are applied throughout the treatment. Slight discomfort can be felt at times, but this is minimal and short lived.
